We periodically take a long weekend in the fall or spring to visit our church retreat center in Southeast Georgia — 72 secluded acres of substance-free, sustainable space — for spiritual refreshment, renewal and fellowship. We engage in discipleship, bible study and prayer for direction in our own lives and also in the life of the church.
We also have a lot of fun! Saturday night is always Game Night, and there’s a partially shaded above-ground swimming pool with a deck and plenty of semi-wooded space to spread out and enjoy the solitude and nature.
To RSVP for the next retreat, just contact the church office. There is limited space in the cabins but plenty of room to pitch a tent. There is cold running water and outdoor toilets near all the cabins, and a full bathroom in the fully equipped kitchen building. Children are welcome, but remember they will need your special attention and supervision in the retreat environment. Ask about bringing pets.
