This Week’s Message

Welcome to the New Week

“Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.”  Matthew 5:11-12

This Week’s Message

WELCOME TO THE NEW WEEK

“Don’t let this throw you. You trust God, don’t you? Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in God’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I’m on my way to get your room ready, I’ll come back and get you so you can live where I live.” John 14:1-3

What is the Real Fake News

Sermon for Sunday, June 6, 2021
Second Sunday after Pentecost

Gentle Spirit Christian Church
Rev. Paul Turner, Senior Pastor
10:30 AM Eastern – Candler Park Pavilion via Facebook Live

Today’s Message:
“What is the Real Fake News” Mark 3:20-35 (MSG)
VS.28-30 “Listen to this carefully. I’m warning you. There’s nothing done or said that can’t be forgiven. But if you persist in your slanders against God’s Holy Spirit, you are repudiating the very One who forgives, sawing off the branch on which you’re sitting, severing by your own perversity all connection with the One who forgives.” He gave this warning because they were accusing him of being in league with Evil.”
