All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you — that’s the agenda for rejoicing.

Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.

Here in this great gathering for worship I have discovered this praise-life.And I’ll do what I promised right here in front of the God-worshipers.Down-and-outers sit at God’s table and eat their fill.Everyone on the hunt for God is here, praising God.“Live it up, from head to toe. Don’t ever quit!”

In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary — we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

You’ve been with me all this time, Philip, and you still don’t understand? To see me is to see the Creator. So how can you ask, ‘Where is the Creator?’ Don’t you believe that I am in the Creator and the Creator is in me? The words that I speak to you aren’t mere words.

So they’ll be as unified and together as we are — I in them and you in me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that you’ve sent me and loved them in the same way you’ve loved me.

But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles,They run and don’t get tired; they walk and don’t lag behind.
